スピリチュアルジャズバンドBUILD AN ARKで一躍時の人となったカルロス・ニーニョと
ファビン・アモンによるインスト・ヒップホップユニットのアルバム。
BUILD AN ARKのアルバムはヒップホップ世代によるジャズを表現した傑作でしたが、
このアルバムは、そこで得た感覚をさらにヒップホップに注入したものだと思います。
BUILD AN ARKに参加したミュージシャン達もゲストで入り、暖かいパーカッションやローズ、
フルート、ベースを鳴らしています。そして、それらの生楽器と様々な情感を織り込んだかのような
シンセ、卓越したエディットとの絡みは非常に有機的で、ソウルがあります。
また、その上モノを引き締める太いビート（打ち込み方は緻密）は、
彼等がヒップホップを出発点としていることを、はっきりと示していて、
巷に溢れるエレクトロニカなヒップホップとは一線を画しています。
曲順や構成なんかもかなり練られていて、何度聴いても味わい深いです。
この人達は絶対ただものじゃないので、注目しとくべきだと思います（多分、既に注目されてますが）。
