深く、美しく、情緒的でいて心を揺さぶられる。とにかく1のインストから引き込まれ、最後まで緊張感がﾋﾟｰﾝと張り詰めている。音響派な音だが彼らからはロック的情熱が伝わってくる。ヴォーカルが野暮ったい感じだが返って世界観に現実感をあたえている。軒並み出た新人の中では表現者として群を抜いています。

様々なバンドの音の粒子を持つバンドである。現代の無機質な世界を脳裏に喚起し、なんとも言えない物悲しさを感じさせるバイオリンのストリングス（GY!BE）、メランコリックなフレーズから一気に拡散して鳴り響くディストーションギター（Mogwai）、そしてギタリストの自殺といった悲劇が悲しいほどにはまってしまうような、救いの無い雰囲気の暗い音世界。それでいてその絶望的な世界の深淵から、あくまでも光に満ちた高みを目指し、荘厳ともいえる究極の癒しの世界を展開していく様はRadioheadやSigur Rosに通じるものがある。

オープニングトラックの"The Black Amnesias"は作品中で最も壮大な展開を見せるインストナンバー。メランコリックなクリアギターのフレーズから昇りつめていき、バイオリンストリングスとともに炸裂するディストーションギターが、荘厳な雰囲気の一大叙情絵巻を繰り広げている。Tr.2"Enemies/Friends"では、マーチのように機械的に刻まれるドラムスと、人肌の温かさを感じさせるVo（ビリーコーガンに似ていると思うのは自分だけだろうか。）、lyricsのコントラストが素晴らしく、続くTr.3では同じく規則正しい音を紡ぎ出すリズム隊が終盤でガラリと転調し、流麗でドラマチックなサウンドが溢れ出す。Tr.5の"The Red The White The Black The Blue"は上記のようなバンドのサウンドが最も良い形で現れているドラマチックかつスリリングな好ナンバー。上記のバンドが好きな人は一度聴いてみてください。
