でましたね！
メーテルレジェンドの続編とも言うべき、その後のメーテルの物語。
メーテルやエメラルダスの悲しい過去。
９９９のファンなら絶対見逃してはいけません。
少しずつ明らかになっていく秘密。今後の作品も期待してます。

「 銀河鉄道999 」と「 1000年女王 」がごっちゃになったような設定で、
メーテル がまだ 星野 鉄郎 少年と出会う以前のお話らしい ！　
残念なことに、メーテル、トチロー、ハーロック、エメラルダス、ラーレラ
などの主要キャラの声優が、総入れ替えになっている ！
（ ただし、1000年女王 と 車掌さん は、元の声のまま ）
そのため、最初は、素直に観れないというか、視聴していて違和感を覚えた ！

さらに、メーテル が、
1000年女王（ ラー・アンドロメダ・プロメシューム ）の娘だったり、
エメラルダス と メーテル が姉妹だったり・・・（ ← マジっすか ！？ ）
おいどんは、この過激な設定には、ちょっと ついて行けない・・ ・・・

と思っていたが、第5話くらいから、
ストーリーのあまりの面白さに、ドンドン引き込まれてしまった ！　!(^^)!
絵もかなりキレイだし、この作品は結構良いですよ ！　(^_^)v

メーテルや999の大ファンなら買いで間違いないと思います。
が、そうでない人、松本零士の各作品に見られるクロスオーバーした世界観や、
戦争、おもに戦うこと、命の尊さなどの共通するテーマの扱い方がいささか古くさく、
その世界観を現代に合わせ、社会的・政治的な背景なども綿密に設定しないと
今のユーザーは納得しないでしょう。そういった改善はこの作品ではなされていません。
でも絵だけは綺麗に現代風になっています。総合して考えて評価は「普通の作品」です。
また、メーテルは謎の女性だから魅力的なのだと思います。
魅力的な謎をより深めるなら意味があると思いますが、今回の場合はそうではないので、
うすっぺらい作品に思えてしまうのが残念です。
