　ゴールドメッキの百式。「あぁ、ホントはこんなんかー」と思わせてくれます。パーツを切り離した跡が目立たない工夫がされていて、作った後の鑑賞にもたえるモデルです。細かいとこでは、膝下からのムーバルフレームのシリンダーが足首の動きにあわせて可動します。また、ちゃんとビームサーベルの柄が腰の後ろへ取り付け可。可動も良好です。グリプス戦役を代表するＭＳだけあって、キットも素晴らしいです。

アンダーゲート方式により、素組みでも簡単にゴールドに輝く百式を手に入れることができるので、未塗装派の方も是非!

特に気に入ったのは、ライフル、バズーカ用とサーベル用のハンドパーツが2種類あり、ビームライフル等をフラフラにならずに持たせることができる点です。

私のように脂性の人は、金メッキ部分にはあまりさわらない方がいいかも…

金色部分をメッキで再現し、アンダーゲート処理を採用することで大変美しく仕上がる…のですが、
この当時の水準から見ても、それ以外の部分が「おっかなびっくり」で無難にまとめられてしまっている印象で、構造としての面白味は少なめ。
MGで発売されたグリプス戦役MSも次々構造が刷新されているため、ちょっと厳しいです。
その為に百式も是非2.0や、可動部分のみ改善した1.5を、と思ってしまいますね。
目ン玉飛び出るような値段になりそうではありますが、バンダイお得意のうんたらエディション、とでも銘打ってメッキ・非メッキを分けてもらえたらもっといいかなあ。

とはいえ、素組・素立ちで十分すぎるほどの存在感。値段分の価値はありますよ。

また、塗装派の方には非メッキのバリュートパック付をお勧めです。
