鈴井貴之監督初の作品で、北海道が舞台の心が温まる話。
出演はチームナックスの安田顕さんやどうでしょうで人気の大泉洋さん。
ヒロインには三輪明日美さんに他にも有名な俳優さんが出ています。
内容は、ヒロイン女子高生の希(三輪明日美)は家庭に居場所がなく、
親に内緒で塾に行くと嘘をついてコンパニオンクラブで働く。
交番勤務の小林(安田顕)は正義感が強く、ちょっとまじめ過ぎる男。

ある日、希の馴染み客の妻が、夫の行為を知り激怒してコンパニオンクラブに乱入して刃傷沙汰を起こす。
これがきっかけになりクラブは摘発され、そして希と小林が“知り合う”きっかけにもなった。

そんな時、女子高生の間である噂が広まっていた。
それは紙に願い事を書いて流すと願いが叶うという“夢のマンホール”の話し。
希はその話が幼い頃の記憶とひっかかり、ひょんな事から小林と一緒に“夢のマンホールを”探しに行く。
信じてるわけじゃないけど、でもそんな場所がどこかにあって欲しいと心の中で願いながら･･･。

淡々としていると言えばそうかもしれないけど、そんな中にも心温まる部分や、考える部分などあって私は好きです。
出演者もそれぞれ個性ある役で、いつも見るバラエティーのナックスさんとは違う部分が見れました。
希望なき時代への希望･･･、見た後に少しでも次への活力になって欲しいという思いの作品です。

副音声で、色彩へのこだわりが語られていましたが、
繊細で緻密な色使いがとても綺麗な映画です。
雰囲気として、篠原哲雄監督の「月とキャベツ」にも
似通った匂いがするところもあるかと思います。
素直に｢うん、好きな映画だ」と思える良い作品だと思います！

原作・監督：鈴井貴之。2001年。
出演：安田顕・三輪明日美・大泉洋・その他
鈴井貴之、第１回監督作品。

誰もが抱える悩み・寂しさ・切なさを表現し、
人々の想いを叶える対象が『夢のマンホール』。
誰もが望みながらもありそうで無いもの。
結局は自分が変わらなければ何も変わらない。
失いかけている希望、それを探し彷徨う。
そんなことを表現しているのではないだろうか。

全体的になんとなく物足りなさを感じるものの、
逆に初々しさ・新鮮さが出て、良い感じの作品に仕上がっています。
緩やかに進むストーリーと揺れ動く心理描写が巧みです。
心が温まるというか、懐かしさを感じました。
私的には、三作の中で一番良い出来ではないかと思います。
メイキングで張り切っているミスターもいいです(ﾉ∀`)
