フランス人てなんかズルイよね、こぉんなに言葉の響きがエレガントかつエクセレントなのに、こじゃれたメロやエスプリ利かせちゃあ降参するしかありません。英語と仏語両方の曲が入ってて、すてきんぐ！こりゃもう一発屋覚悟なのか、あるいはダフトパンクONE MORE TIME以来のおっされキラーチューンか？2004年のダークホースはついに、ついにやってきたよ、おっかさん！
信じられないかもしれませんが、フランス製スペアミントだとかフランス製マルーン５とかフランス製ピチカートとかいっても、まんざら嘘じゃないくらいの多彩なグッドメロディーに驚きました。ホントにひとつのユニットの作品か？ってくらいの濃いいBUTカッコイイ作品ですよ。
1曲目の大ネタはぃやられたーって悔しいくらいのキャッチーさがたまりません。
13曲目が、これめっちゃ空耳！と思ったのも束の間、歌詞カード見たら、本当に単なる日本語で瀬棚に名寄に帯広（北海道の地名、またなんて有り得ないくらいマイナーな･･･）を含む地名がわんさか出てくるのです。

ラ・ラヴ・マシーンはフランスの男性二人組のユニットです。このアルバムの冒頭曲LIKENESSは、60年代のヒット曲『恋は水色』を、彼らの手でポップ調にしたもの。とても軽快で楽しい音楽で、一度聴くと思わず口ずさんでしまいます。ただ他の曲があまりパッとしないのが、星が３つの理由です。
