今までのアルバムはどうしてもアレンジと伴奏が彼らの歌を邪魔しているように感じていたのですが、今回はアレンジも落ち着き伴奏も素晴らしく、しっかりと彼らの歌声を味わうことが出来る作品になっています。コナーも素晴らしいバリトン歌手に成長しましたね。歌っている時の声は話している時よりも少し高めです。リベラ・メではまだ少し声が若すぎるかなという気もしましたが、彼はこれから歳を重ねていくごとにもっと深くキレイな歌声になっていくと思います。ただ、今回はコナーが中心になっていてメンバーのソロがほとんど聴けないのは少し残念でした。アンサンブルは彼らのレベルの高さを感じる事が出来ます。

聞きながらクリュイタンスの演奏スタイルに似てるような感じを受けた。もともと「少年のレクイエム」等の演奏の音源を編集したり、不足分を後年追加しているので、とても上手くまとめてはいるが楽曲としての統一感が少し犠牲になっているのが残念。1番と2番(全曲のなかで一番良かった)を聞いた時にはフォーレのレクイエムの新しい名盤誕生かと期待したのほどの感動を受けた。バリトンのコナーには凛々しさが感じられてとても良かったし、オーケストラも名演だ。
