かつて吉田拓郎や長渕剛、大滝詠一らと組んできた森進一が、今回パートナーに選んだのはZARDの坂井泉水。作詞に坂井、作曲にZARDや倉木麻衣らの楽曲を手掛ける大野愛果がつとめ、ポップな作品に仕上がっている。とはいえ、そこは演歌の大御所。きっちり自分の世界へ引き込み、ロック“演歌”バラードともいえる世界を作り上げてしまっている。考えてみれば坂井の詞というのは、しんみりとした恋愛感が窺えるものが多い。タイトルには若い風情があふれているが、その内容は老成感さえありジャスト・マッチなのだ。 (石塚隆) --- 2004年12月号
