ベートーヴェンらしいかといわれると考えてしまう演奏。多分こういう解釈ではないなとは思う。しかし、ホロヴィッツの演奏、音楽の流れには非常に納得させられる。やはり、上手い！！もちろん、ベートーヴェンは、バックハウス、ケンプ、グルダ、アラウなどが一流の演奏をしているし、ベートーヴェンらしい。この演奏は、ホロヴィッツを聴くための演奏と思えば、納得いくし、すごい演奏だと思う。モーツァルトの生まれ変わりのような才能をもつピアニスト、今後このようなピアニストは出てこないのではないか。付録でついているシューベルト、速度はゆっくり目だが、他のピアニストのものと比べると面白い。内田の演奏がなんと小さくこじんまりしてしまうか、クラウスの粒のそろわない演奏にがっかりするか、グルダのジャズ的な演奏に？と思うか、唯一戦えるのは、シフの演奏だった。

子供がﾋﾟｱﾉを習っており、私自身ﾋﾟｱﾉの素人です。ホロヴィッツ（敬称略）のピアノＣＤは２枚目でした。１枚目の子供の情景のＣＤをレビューを参考にホロヴィッツのものを選び、うっとりと聞かせて頂いておりました。ホロヴィッツがどれだけ凄いピアニストかを知らないままに。ﾋﾟｱﾉの先生よりホロヴィッツの名前を伺い、このＣＤを図書館で借用致しました。他の方がおっしゃるとおり、他の演奏の方が整っているものもあるかもしれませんが、月光の第３楽章のフォルテへの盛り上がり方、フォルテの迫力、細部の柔らかい美しい音になぜかとても惹かれました。５歳の子から、車に乗ったら「ﾎﾛｳﾞｨｯﾂの月光が聞きたい」とリクエストされ、８歳の娘にも夕食の時に「ﾎﾛﾋﾞｯﾂの月光が聞きたい」と言われます。子供たちがそろってここまで喜んだ演奏ははじめてでした。早速モスクワのコンサートのＤＶＤや他のＣＤも何枚も購入させて頂き、本当に楽しませて頂いております。そのきっかけとなったこのＣＤにとても感謝しています。他の方の演奏と明らかに違いがあって、それでいて素晴らしいことにとても魅力を感じました。

最も尊敬するホロヴィッツ大師匠には申し訳ないが、師匠のベートーヴェンには何故かピンときません。なんかズレてる・・・かなり曲の本質的部分で微妙にスレ違いがあるような気が・・・
