次から次に不幸が舞い降りる少女アマンダ。
もう少し考えて行動すれば避けられた事がいっぱいあった様にも見えたが、14歳の少女がなぜこんなに不幸な目ばかり見なくちゃいけないんだろうと思った。

ブラッド・ピットとジュリエット・ルイスの迫真の演技は共に素晴らしかったです。
ブラピって汚れ役好きなのかな、出演映画にチラホラ汚れ役で出てますよね。（笑

ところでレビューでは18歳で結婚となってたが、アマンダは14歳で結婚したという設定だったはずだ。
それにビリーがピュアなハートをもつ青年ってどいう視点から見るとそう見えるんだろ・・・・。
このコメント書いた人あまり映画を集中して見てなかったんじゃないかなと思った。

13歳で継父からレイプされ、母親からも捨てられたアマンダ。そんな不幸な家庭環境から逃れるように、アマンダは18歳のボーイフレンドと結婚するが、２人の幼い結婚生活も長くは続かなかった。１人ドラッグと売春が蔓延する街へ出たアマンダは、そこでポン引きのビリーと知り合う。・・・

映画『カリフォルニア』でも共演し、一時は恋人同士でもあったジュリエット・ルイスとブラッド・ピットが、夜の街に彷徨うアマンダとビリーを演じています。ジュリエット・ルイスは当時まだティーンエイジャーであるにもかかわらず、あまり頭が良くないけれど純粋に幸せと愛を求め続けるアマンダを上手く演じています。スレンダーな身体といい、泣き顔もキレた顔も素直に見せてしまう表情といい、全身全霊でジュリエットが演じる「アマンダ」の悲しみが容赦なく伝わってきました。ブラピの方は憎たらしくなるほどの汚れ役です。観ていて辛くなってくるほどに救われないストーリー展開といい、アマンダに対する世間の目といい、まるでドキュメンタリーを観ているかのようでした。

ジュリエット・ルイス最高！
それに尽きる映画。

目当てはブラピ。また悪男の役。
「カリフォルニア」と類似する雰囲気。
ＴＶＭとのことですが、劇場映画と遜色ない内容かと。
物語は10代の犯罪者への死刑を問うような内容。
実際、アメリカでは適用されているとか

ブラピとジュリエット・ルイスのカップルはいいね。
当時つきあっていたなんて話だけど、どうなんだろ。
それにしても当時のジュリエット・ルイスは、少女時代から女優として活躍した人達の中でも群を抜いているね。

肝心のストーリーですが、死刑云々を深く考えるような作品ではないな。
犯罪を犯すに至る過程もよくある話だし。
キャスト目当てがいちばん楽しめるでしょうね。
