　ベスト盤というのは、全く知らない人の入門編だとか、曲をあまり知らない人がライブに行く前の参考資料として聞くものだと思うのですが…。
　９５年の新生レインボーのライブのセットリストは、リッチー・ブラックモアが考えた、私達に対するリクエストの返答だったと思うんです。
　何故、レインボーのベスト盤にはいつも「Spotlight　Kid」と「Difficult to cure」が入っていないのか。これが私には疑問なんです。
　「Can't let you go」「Jealous lover」なんて必要なんでしょうか？
　レインボー＝クラシカルロックを打ち出さないと、初心者には良さが分からないと思います。
　「Stargazer」は、この後すぐ「A light in the black」に続いていってもらわないと、ロニー・ジェイムス・ディオの考えたコンセプトが全く伝わらなくなります。
　全く知らない人が「Stone cold」を聞いて「凄くいいね！」なんて言う訳ありません。(個人的には好きですが…)
ＣＤショップで、１曲目の「Man on the　silver mountain」を視聴しても、絶対買おうとは思わないでしょう。
　それだったら、「Death alley driver」を入れるべきです。
レインボー入門編は絶対１曲目に「早いやつ」を打ち出していくべきです！
　レインボーが若い世代に語り継がれない理由は、良いベスト盤が未だに世に出ていないからだと言っても過言ではありません。
　このＣＤは「Highway star」の入っていないディープパープルのベスト盤みたいなものです。
　レインボーは、出来ればアルバムを１枚ずつ揃えていってもらいたいです。
　個人的には、「虹を翔る覇者(Rainbow　Raising)」「アイ・サレンダー(Difficult to Cure)」「ファイナル・ヴァィナル(Fainal Vinyl)」の順に購入されることをお勧めします。
