   青いバケツの中にレゴブロックがいっぱい入ったブロック遊びの中級セット。5才から遊べる。基本ブロック以外にもパラソルやイス、人形のブロックや車輪のブロック、カラフルなプリントブロックがいろいろ入っている。バケツの中に入っているので、片付けもしやすい。
   基本ブロックだけでも家や庭、ビルや動物を作ることができるが、大きなタイヤと小さなタイヤを組み合わせてレーシングカーを作ったり、プロペラのブロックでヘリコプターや風車を作ったり、想像力次第で遊びの幅がどこまでも広がる。デンマーク生まれのレゴブロックが日本で発売されるようになって40年以上になる。プレゼントの定番商品のひとつだ。（水谷雅洋）


このメーカーについて

 『レゴ』という語は、上手に遊ぶという意味のデンマーク語leg godtに由来している（ラテン語で『レゴ』とは、組み立てるという意味がある）。レゴ社は、大工であったOle Kirk Christiansen氏がデンマークのビルンに設立した。当初木工所を開設した彼は、1932年に木工玩具の製作を開始。1947年に同社は最初のプラスチック製玩具となるおもちゃのがらがらやトラクターなどを制作した。現在のレゴブロックの前身となるものが発売されたのは1949年のこと。同社は、息子の代に変わっていた1958年に結合可能ブロックを発売し、売り上げを飛躍的に伸ばした。レゴは、無限に広がる遊び方の可能性があること、男女を問わずあらゆる世代が楽しめること、健康的で静かにかつ長時間遊べることなどを含む、10項目の定義に基づいて開発されている。

「ひとつひとつのピースが小さすぎるかな」と、息子にレゴを与えるのをずっとためらっていたのですが、5歳の誕生日に叔母さんにプレゼントしてもらってから、夢中になって遊びはじめました。落ち着きがない上、いつも大人が相手になってやらないとなかなか遊べなかった長男が、レゴに出会って以来、もくもくと一人で（しかも静かに！）遊ぶようになって、一番喜んでいるのは、親の私かもしれません。
創造力だけでなく、集中力もつくと思います。長年愛されているおもちゃはやっぱり偉大ですね。

大き目のブロックを持っていましたが、子供が５才になったのでレベルアップとしてレゴを買ってみました。初レゴです。
大きな箱に大量のブロックで子供は大喜び。
初めは、箱に張ってある写真と同じものを作っていましたが、最近は「花」のブロックを使ってコマを何種類も作っています。
子供の想像力はすごいですね。いろいろなカタチのブロックが入っていますので、かなり遊べます。

今回35%offで購入でき、ラッキーでした。男の子、女の子問わず想像を働かせて色々なものを作り出せることができますし、親子で楽しむことができます。
作ったものをデジカメで撮っておき、将来の思い出にと考えています。
丈夫ですし世代を超えてこの子達（2才、♀　7才、♂）の子供の世代にまで使えると感じました。
