似たようなおもちゃで横型(平たいタイプ）がありますが、月齢が低いうちは縦型の方が遊びやすいみたいです。
前に身を乗り出して遊ぶのが難しいからなんでしょう。
こちらはうつ伏せでも遊べるし、お座りが安定しない状態でもOKでした。
はっきりした色合いと、音が興味をひくらしく、単純な仕組みのおもちゃですがとてもよく遊びました。

手で回す（触れる）という簡単な動作だけで動くので、一番始めのおもちゃに適していると思います。一番左から顔の表情がページ絵の要領で動きます。玉がくるくると回ります。ポロンポロンと心地良い音色がします。玉がバラバラにガラガラと音を立てて回ります。

非常に古風なオモチャですよね。
ウチの子は、ブンブンと回します。
結構ハードに遊ばれてますが、壊れそうもなくGoodです。
