「ひらひら」中山ラビ
初めて聴いたときの、戦慄と感動が今も残っているのはなぜだろう。

「川にそって」この曲を聴くたび私は、どこにいても故郷京都の鴨川を歩くことが出来る。
「人は少しずつ変わる」を暗闇で聴きながら、人の不思議さ、頼りなさを思い知り、
「たいへんだあ！」で、自分の殻をコナゴナにされた。
「わかれ」のラビの歌声とアルペジオに、涙を流したことも一度ならず・・ある。

「いいくらし」「祈り」と続くエンディングがとにかくすばらしい。
この二曲の合間のレコードの隙間が生み出す、ほんの一瞬の時を待つ気持ちを、
なんと表現すればいいのだろう。
“手をひらけばそこに五本の指があり、ふりかえればそこにまっすぐにカゲふたつ”
この歌詞が表す世界が、私は・・どう表現したら一番ぴったりするのかわからないほどに・・好きだ。

このCDにはアルバム「もうすぐ」の曲も収録されているが、
11曲目を聴き終わったら一旦デッキのストップボタンを押してもらいたい･･･。
そして、しばらくしてから12曲目以降を聴いてもらいたい。
この気持、わかってもらえるだろうか？

京都の大学に通っていた時を思い出します。従兄弟が買ってきたアルバム「ひらひら」、歌っている人＞中山ラビ・・・？誰だ？？何だ？このジャケット？？　しかし、引き込まれました。「夢のドライブ」高島屋、比叡山のビアガーデン、琵琶湖・・・いやぁ〜京都ですわぁ〜　四条河原町当たり、よくぶらぶら歩いてました。懐かしい。卒業してウン十年、学生時代がよみがえる。出会えて良かった、と思えるシンガーです。国分寺の彼女のお店へ行ってみたい今日この頃。
