　サポートのしっかりしてそうなメーカで，“リモコン付”という条件でこの商品を選びました．インストール時に「どんなトラブルが起こるか？」と思いましたが，あっさり立ち上がり拍子抜け．

　ソフトウェアエンコード方式のTVキャプチャーボードで気になるCPU負荷率を報告します．小生の環境(WinXP,Celeron D 2.4GHz,　Mem:512MB*2, RADEON7000)で，テレビ視聴，録画，録画しながらのタイムシフト再生時でそれぞれ，25%, 50%, 75%程度です．
　小生のような“パソコンを使いながら画面の隅にTVを小さく映す”程度の使用方法なら，まったく問題がありません．ほとんど遊んでいるに等しい高速なCPUにとって，適度な運動になっていることでしょう．

　評価で星4つとしたのは，高価なハードウェアエンコード方式のボードを使用したかとが無いので，敬意を表して星ひとつ減らしました．

　初めてのＴＶキャプチャーボードの購入でした．マニュアル通りにインストールして，どんなトラブルが起こるか？と期待半分にスイッチを入れるとあっさり映ってしまって，拍子抜けでした．

　ソフトウェアエンコードボードで気になるＣＰＵ負荷率は，テレビ視聴，ＨＤへの録画，録画しながらのタイムシフト再生でそれぞれ，25％，45％，58％です（CPU.Celeron D 2.4GHz, Mem.512MB*2, RADEON7000)．ハードエンコードボードが人気ですが，Pen4程度のCPUでしたら全く不要と思います．Win95時代にDVDのデコードボードがありましたが，今は存在すらしません．この分野も直ぐにソフトウェア処理全盛になると思います．

　HD付DVD(RAM)レコーダを所有する小生にとって，さらに有用なのはバンドルソフトのDigiOn TVR LE．RAMに直接書込み，簡単な編集ならできます．HD付レコーダとパソコンでRAMを共有でききるので快適．

　星４つとしたのは，高価なハードウェアエンコードボードを使ったことが無いので，マイナス1星にしました．
