TransPodでドライブに行こう
   TransPodデジタルは、車のシガーライターソケットからiPodへのバッテリ充電を行いながら、カーステレオのFMラジオを使用してiPodの音楽を聴くことができる製品。

車のシガーソケットに差し込むだけ
   セットアップは、TransPodデジタル本体のベースドックにiPodを装着し、車のシガーソケットに差し込むだけ。FM周波数の変更は、液晶画面で確認しながらサイドのチューニングボタンで0.1MHz刻みに行える。また、本体左側面にステレオミニジャックが付いており、イヤホンやスピーカなどと接続して音楽を楽しむことも可能。

デジタルFMトランスミッタ
   デジタル方式の採用により、アナログ方式に比べクリアな音声が望める。加えて、ダイアル調整のような周波数選択ではなく完全に0.1MHz刻みに調整する事ができるため、現在の周波数がいくつかを即座に知る事が可能。またデジタル方式のメリットとして車の振動などでの周波数のズレがおこりにくくなっている。国内向けの周波数は76MHz~91.0MHzとなる。

アジャスト
   製品の車内での角度の微調整のためにTransPodデジタルには、アーム部分に数カ所の可動部を持っているために自由度の高い設置が可能となっている。またベースドック部分はボールジョイント方式を採用しているため最も重要なベースドックの角度などはより細かく設定が可能。

１ヶ月程使用してみました。カロッツェリアのヘッドユニット＋ソニーのスピーカー使用してます。まぁ、こんなもんでしょうね~。一番気になる点はノイズです。スピーカーには独立ツイーターが付いているので静かな曲ではうるさく感じます。ノリが良い曲では気になるレベルではありません。音質のクオリティはまずまずです。もちろんCDより数段落ちますが、グライコやDSP搭載のヘッドユニットをご使用になっていればipod本体のイコライザーと組み合わせることによってクリアな高音＋切れの良い低音が鳴るはずです！色々試してみて下さい。但し、ipod本体の設定にあるサウンドチェックは絶対ONにしないと音がわれまくりますのでご注意！

この機器を２台の車（アンテナ形状がまったく異なる）に装着して色々試してみたが、結果として音質は「電話で音楽を聞いている感じ」以上にはなりませんでした。車に搭載されているＣＤチェンジャー（特に高級品ではない）とは次元の違う音です。購入をお考えの方は試聴してみることをお勧めします。

使用してみた
いい点：i podもi pod miniもそのまま使える。
　　　　トランスミッターもi pod（i pod mini）も充電される。
　　　　周波数が0.1刻みで設定できる。
　　　　デジタルなので振動で周波数が変わらない。
　　　　i pod（i pod mini）が固定される。
　　　　トランスミッターの液晶画面が常に光っているので見やすい。
悪い点：i pod mini用の固定器具がきつい。
　　　　音はCDにはかなり劣る。
　　　　自分の車には使用できたが、合わないものもある。
胸をはっておすすめできるというほどではないです。
ただ、他のものと比較していないのでこんなものなのかも
