シンプルで美しいデザインのiPodですが、残念ながら水分やショックには強いとは言えません。
LiliPodは厚さ2mmのプラスチック製密閉ケースです。内部はスポンジになっており、中に入れたiPodはしっかり固定されます。開閉部の防水はゴムリングで、サイドクランプでケースはしっかりと密閉される設計です。これなら大事な（そう、決して安くはない）iPodを雪、水滴やホコリ、落下の衝撃から守ってくれそうです。
電化製品の防水ケースで一番問題になる外部端子接続部、iPodの場合はヘッドホンのコネクター部分です。Lilipodの場合はゴムでコーティングされた端子がケース内部と外部をしっかり区別して水分が入らない設計になっています。（つまり、ケースに穴はあいていません）
残念ながらケースを閉じている間はiPodを操作することはできません。よって、ケースに入れる前にプレイリストを選択し、再生を開始しておく必要があります。

ベルトクリップで衣服に挟んで固定してもよし、ストラップで首から下げてもよし、スキー、ツーリング、ジョギング、プールサイド、どこでも大丈夫です。
もちろんアウトドアだけでなく、キッチンやお風呂などインドアでも活躍できます。（お風呂というのは案外盲点かもしれませんね）

白いプラスチックはシンプルで、iPodのイメージを壊さないと思います。

残念ながらダイビングで使用できるほどの耐圧性は無いようです。海底までiPodと一緒に行きたい場合は15M防水の「PELICAN PRODUCTS Water Proof iPod Case 」（残念ながらアマゾンでは扱いが無いようです）がおすすめです。

LiliPodは第３世代と第４世代のiPodに対応しています。

iPodをこのカバーに入れると操作が出来なくなることは、商品の画像からも理解してはいました。
だから僕はこれと一緒にiPod リモコン付きインナーイヤー型ヘッドフォンを買いました。ところが、このカバーにiPodを入れた場合
リモコンを接続する場所がなくなります。つまりリモコンも使えません。
一切の操作が(再生を止めることも）このカバーに入れると出来ないと言う事です。
iPodを取り出す作業もかなり面倒なため、普段普通に持ち歩くだけのためにこのカバーを購入するのは止めといたほうがいいかと思います。
僕は、風呂での英語学習のために購入したのですが・・・
リモコンが使えなければ、この回をもう一度聞きたいなとか思ってもどうしようもする事がなく、どんどんと次のプレイをひたすら聞くだけのことになります。意味がありません。
2つあわせて非常に後悔する買い物となりました。
