5.0 out of 5 stars 星５つでは不足、と言いたくなる「新しい」ＱＵＥＥＮ！, 2004/11/5
　既出のライヴものはベスト盤という選曲で、昔からのコアなファンにとっては少なからず飽食気味なのではないかと推測するのですが、このＤＶＤは期待以上の斬新さがあります。
　We Will Rock Youのハードロック・ヴァージョン（"LIVE KILLERS"の１曲目）で幕開け、最初からぶっ飛びました。まるで「新生」ＱＵＥＥＮを観ているかのような錯覚に襲われて、Now I'm Hereで３６にもなってついヘッドバンギングしてしまいました。
　封印されていた"HOT SPACE"からの曲が盛りだくさん。スピードアップしタイトになったアレンジ、ライヴ演奏でたっぷり聴けます。出す時期さえ間違わなかったらきっとベスト盤に入ることになっていたであろうこれら名曲のグルーヴを、生の演奏でがっちり堪能できます。これを観た後に「本当は大好きだったんだよぉ~！」と涙声で叫びながら"HOT SPACE"を大音量で聴きたくなる人も多いはず。
　ブライアンもロジャーもジョンも真剣そのもので必死に演奏しています。非常にタイトでパワフルな演奏でグルーヴ感溢れ、鳥肌が立ちます。特筆すべきはフレディのヴォーカルの艶。ウェンブリーではポリープのため避けていた高域もガンガンきます。オリジナルに限りなく近い彼の歌唱に、鳥肌の上にさらに鳥肌が立ちます。
　また、珍しくブライアンのギターが聞こえなくなるアクシデントもそのまま収められています。

出回っていたコレクターズ物とは比較にならない映像と音に感激！このライブの見所の1つにホットスペースからの３曲（ステイング　パワー・アクション　ディス　デイ・バック　チャット）が見れる事が挙げられますが、個人的には、愛にすべてを・セイブ　ミー・ファット　ボトムド　ガールズ・タイ　ユア　マザー　ダウン等のハイテンションな演奏が見られる事が最高の見所と思っています。８６年頃のライブも良いですが、こちらも８０年代ライブの１つの頂点だと思います。ＤＩＳＣ２に西武球場のライブが入っているのでライブ　イン　ジャパン（ＬＤ）のＤＶＤ発売は無いかもしれない？

以前から、QUEENファンでした。熱烈ほどではなかったのですが、１曲目の「FLASH」から、QUEENサウンドに包み込まれ、会場にいるような臨場感が感じられ、オーディエンスと一緒になって「NOW I'M HERE」までを気分良く歌い、「LOVE OF MY LIFE」~「SAVE ME」では、感動のあまり涙があふれました。後半は、「UNDER PRESSURE」「BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY」等、全ファンが聴きたいヒット曲が、目白押しで「WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS」まで進みます。４人のメンバーと曲の素晴らしさ、特にフレディー・マーキュリーの声・歌唱力・パフォーマンスといった天賦の才能を堪能できるDVDだと思います。激烈にお勧めします。
