Chari Chariとしてアーティストとしても確固たる存在感を示す井上薫だが、やっぱりＤＪとしての切れの良さは本当に素晴らしい。Chari Chariでのワールドミュージック寄りのサウンドとは、また違った純粋に踊れる展開をここでは見せている。何よりつなぎの上手さは、やはり生粋のＤＪなんだなというのを再認識させられた。その中で、民族的な香りもごく自然に出しているさり気なさも心地よい。
このageHaシリーズ、さまざまなタイプの違うＤＪが実力を披露するような勝負のシリーズでもあると思うのだが、井上薫のこのＭＩＸＣＤは見事にその唯一無二の存在感を示していると思う。ジャケを見ると、トロピカルでハッピーな音を想像するかもしれないが、実にクールなハウスを主体とした展開を見せているのが憎い。

~クラブアゲハのミックスCDにいよいよ真打ち登場！ボーダレスかつ斬新な選曲でフロアを毎回踊らせるプレイそのままコンパイル。浮遊感たっぷりのディープ＆スピリチュアルなアフロテイスト、ブラジルなど等この人独特のセンスがはっきりとでた一枚。ただのハウスには収まらない選曲構成はさすが！ロングセットでDJするときのあの幅広さにはかなわないが彼の良さ~~はこの盤でも十分に伝わるはず。自身の新曲も交えながらのめくるめくひととき。欲を言えばもっとワールドな感じの曲も欲しかったがそれはフロアで体感するしかないか？なかなかプレイに忠実なコンピってないんだな。~

カオルさん独特の選曲って感じでとても満足しましたとくにcosmicrasからaurora2004のつなぎとかしびれちゃいます流石カオルさんって感じですねーI
