あのキャロルなき後、日本のロックンロールは終わったかのようであった。しかし、この「ダディ竹千代と東京おとぼけキャッツ」はロックのリアリティーを追求するバンドとして、女のお客様にはエクスタシーを、男のお客様にはジェラシーを与えるバンドとして日本のロック史に、そして私の心にずっとずっと残っていたのでした。その素晴らしいバンドの未発表音源等を収録した貴重なＣＤです。「おとぼけ」ファン以外もぜひ聴いてください。コミカルなライブと哀愁の楽曲が目白押しです。ここに収録されなかった作品も、素敵なものがたくさんありますが、今ＣＤで聴けるのは、このＣＤだけです。宴会芸バンドと馬鹿にしないで心して聴いて、そして、泣いてください。そして第２弾、第３弾も発売されますよう応援してください。おすすめ曲はＣＤ２枚目の「舟乗りの夢」のライブかな。哀愁のメロディでサビを歌わずにはおられませんであります。星が５つでないのは、もっともっと聴きたくなってしまって、物足りなくなってしまうからです。

気づいて良かった！ＣＤが発売されてたなんて！
もう二度と聴くことなど出来ないと思っていた音が、チョットくたびれたオヤジの青春を蘇させてくれるなんて・・・・

音程がどうの、チューニングがどうの・・なんて小難しい事なんて関係ないよ。車の中で聴いていると、小さなライブハウスにでもいるようで
大声で歌ったり＆笑ったりで、他の車の運転手からみれば、かなり
危ないオヤジに映ってるんだろうなー。
今回収録されてない曲も聴きたいな。うん、良かったよ！

思い起こせば高校時代、友人にダビングしてもらったテープを聴いてからのファンです。その後出たCDは「伊賀の影丸」のみ…待ちにまった１枚です（２枚組みだが）。おとぼけといえばライブ、その未発表音源集みたいなこのアルバム、ファンにはたまらない！音がどうとか、この曲がどうとかこむずかしー事は言わずに、まず聴いてみてください！
本当は星５つですが、「EASY GIRL」が入ってないのと、第２弾及び「FIRST」「イデオット・プロット」CD化を期待しての星４つです。旧作CD化の際にはシングルをボーナス・トラックに是非！
