ざらざらした感触の名曲がたくさんつまってます。
特に一曲目の「家畜の朝」はやばい。
ベンジーが手抜きせずに本気で作ったアルバムだと思います。
「NATURAL」と並ぶ名盤。

シャーベッツのアルバムはどれも雰囲気がかなり違うが、これはふんだんにエレキ音を使って思いを吐き出しているような印象を受けました。おとなしい曲もいくつかありますが、それらも何か深いところに熱があるように感じました。
やりすぎと言われればそんな気もしますが、はじめこれを聞いたとき、「やっぱり浅井健一はすげーな」と素直に感じてしまいました

5.0 out of 5 stars SHERBETSの最高傑作, 2008/3/23
このアルバムのリリースまでにシングル三部作を出していますが、
それらの曲は一曲も収録されておらず、全て新曲です。
エンジニアには内田直之氏が起用されており、これがこの作品にばっちりはまっています。
前作『AURORA』とは全く異なる、非常に重厚なサウンドです。
この頃からバンドらしいグルーブ感にも磨きがかかってきています。
アルバム一枚通しての統一感とか、音のうねり方とかがすごいです。
また、個々の曲を見ても、名曲が多数あります。
『夢見るストロベリー』や『王様と乞食』のスケールには圧倒されます。
意見は分かれるかもしれませんが、僕はこの作品がSHERBETSの最高傑作だと思います。
