　1973年に録音された、バディ・リッチのビッグバンド作品です。のっけからホレス・シルヴァー作「Nutville」でバンドが一丸となって全力疾走。物凄い迫力です。ビシッとキマったブラスセクションも文句なし。パット・ラバーベラのテナーも力強いソロを取っています。リッチのドラミングは4ビートでもロックのようなスリルがあります。この濃密な内容で、この値段とは驚きです。

Time check目当てに買いました。
値段が安かったので音質について不安がありましたがクリアーな音色で満足できる内容でした。もっと高くてもこれなら買うってかんじです。

とにかく血管切れそうなくらい激しい演奏です(Prelude to a kissは例外)。
クラブで流れる４つ打ちのダンスミュージックみたいなグルーヴで
特にtime checkはバスドラがもろ４つ打ちです。バンド全体をこれでもかと押しまくってます。
パーティー気分になりたいときには最適。きっと一人でも盛り上がれますよ。
１、５曲目はリズムの激流。流れにのまれたら最後、抜け出すことは出来ないでしょう。
ロック好きの方にもお勧め。

ジャケットそのままのやる気まんまんな演奏。
一曲を除いてすべて当たり曲だと言えます。
再発した人、安くした人、偉いと思います。
ルパン三世のオープニングテーマのビッグバンド版が好きな人は
きっと気に入るはずです。あれの数倍密度の濃い音のカタマリが聞けます。
