初回特別編との違いを整理すると・・・
（１）ＤＴＳ音声が収録されている。
（２）英語字幕対応である。
（３）ロングバージョンである（５分程度プラス）。
（４）映像特典，ポストカードが付かない。
（５）パッケージデザインが違う。
　特にうたってはありませんでしたが，本作もピクチャーディスクでした。
　絵柄はパッケージと同じで洒落ています。

　私はＤＴＳにひかれて購入しましたが，メニュー画面に「特典」が無いのは何とも寂しい感じがしました。
　せっかく再プレスしてＤＴＳ初回版と銘打って出すのだから，値段は多少上がっても，特典付きの豪華版にして欲しかった気がします。２枚組にするとかね。私のように初めて本作を購入するファンもいるのだから。そんな我がままなファン心理から星４つ。

　ＮＹでのミュージカルの成功（トニー賞受賞），ヴァン・ヘルの人気等を考えると，ジャックマンを前面に出した特典を付けても良かったように思います。

なぜ今更？とは思う。

出すのはいいけど、もう少ししっかり作ってほしい。
