このDVDはＨＲを聴く人たちには必ず観てほしい作品である。
映像ももちろんすごいのだが、音。
音に関して日本のロックバンドは海外のやつらには絶対勝てない。
そう思って、洋盤を当たり前の様に聴き、国内のロックバンドは初めから避けている人達が何人もいるだろう。僕もそのうちの一人だ。

しかし、このバンドの音は違う。
もしも、このバンドを知らない、もしくは何年か前に話題を呼んだ「ビジュアル系」としての彼らしか知らないのなら是非聴くべきだ。

リンキンやリンプ、メタリカなどの海外のへヴィネスの重さには到底敵わない――
そう思いながらも観てもらっても構わないだろう。
見終わった後、自分の考えは偏見だったことに気付くはずである。

このバンドのパフォーマンスは、間違いなくオンリーワンです。
映像を見ていると、死ぬ気でライブを演っているという気迫が伝わってきます。
技術とか音質とは別の次元で、このバンドにしか出来ないライブを作り上げていると思います。

特にフロントマンの京は「この人本当に死ぬんじゃないだろうか」と思うくらい、
狂気に満ちたパフォーマンスを見せてくれます。

「本気のライブ」というものを見てみたい方は、是非。

私はメタリカやスレイヤーなどの洋楽ヘヴィメタルばかり聞いている人間だが
メタル友達がこのバンドを絶賛していてヴァルガーを勧められ聴いた時
日本にもこんな音を出すバンドが存在したのかと心底感動した。
ライブパフォーマンスなどレッドホットチリペッパーズ並だし、マイク無しでボーカルの京が独唱するところは思わず聴き入ってしまう。
歌唱力もエヴァネッセンスのエイミー・リーなどと比べても
勝るとも劣らない音程の華麗さ。
演奏力も素晴らしくギター、ベース、ドラムのアンサンブルがライブといえどもクオリティを全く崩れていない。
全くこのバンドが日本に存在している事が惜しい、ヨーロッパやアメリカなどの実力重視な音楽業界で彼らが存在していたらもっとメジャーな存在となっていただろう。
残念ながら日本の音楽業界は実力あるバンドよりもジャニーズやモーニング娘系の
莫大な資金でプッシュされている軽い曲が売れてしまう、全く残念でならない。
彼らはROCK AM RING に日本人アーティスト初の出場を果たしているが
アイアンメイデンやガンズアンドローゼスなどと同じステージで
演奏できるレベルに彼らは間違いなく達していると思う。
このバンドは日本のJ-POPにうんざりして洋楽に行ってしまった人達に是非聞いてほしい。
