   1969年の長崎県・佐世保。高校3年生のケンは、憧れの学園のマドンナに近づきたいがために、ロックコンサートや映画、演劇を総合したフェスティバルを開くことを決意。友人のアダマやイワセらを巻き込んでいく。だがそのいきかがり上で、高校の全共闘の面々と共に高校のバリケード封鎖をすることになってしまうのだった…。
   主人公の行動がすべて“女のため”というのがいい。しかも69年が舞台になっているのに全然古めかしくないのもいい。妻夫木聡と安藤政信の高校生になりきった演技がいい。まさにどこを切っても“いい”づくし。全編文句ナシの小気味良い青春グラフィティに仕上がっている。たとえ時代が変わっても若者のおバカなノリは一緒。そういう意味で老若男女誰もが楽しめる傑作だ。観て絶対に損なし。（横森 文）

　1969年の佐世保における高校生の青春痛快劇。
　主人公のケンは人生のテーマを「楽しむ」ということに置き、何よりもまずそれを優先する。また、長いものに巻かれることをせず、自分達の力だけで自由に人生を楽しむ。
　バリ封をしたり、フェスティバルをしたり、恋愛をしたりと精一杯‘今’を楽しむケン達。後先考えず、好きなことを気の済むまで行動に移してしまうケン達と一緒に生きてみたいとさえ思った。
　見ている時はついつい笑い出してしまい、見た後は物凄く気分爽快になる作品である。

妻夫木聡がでてるからという理由でこの作品を見たのですが、面白かった！
佐世保弁（というのでしょうか）の響きが凄く可愛らしい。ケンやアダマ、岩瀬など一人一人のキャラが立っていて、ちょっと大げさかもしれへんけどこんな子おるかも~と思えてしまいます。みんなでわいわいみるのもいいかもしれません。絶対自分たちの高校時代のことを思い出してしまうはずです。
高校生の男の子が中心の映画で他に「ウォーターボーイズ」を見ましたが、どちらもこの時期特有の男の子の底知れぬパワーやバカバカしさ、不真面目な動機、じゃれあいなどで溢れていて、でもそれがなんだか清々しく、からっとしていて、女の子ではこうはいきません。見終えた後に、あー男の子っていいなぁ、こういう感じ、うらやましいなぁと思ってしまいました。

最初から最後までずっと笑いっぱなしでした。
「退屈な奴らに俺たちの笑い声を聞かせてやるったい！」という科白通り、ケンとアダマの笑い声がしっかり響きました　☆☆☆☆☆　（五ツ星です）
映画を見た後で村上龍の原作を読みました。原作のラストもほろ苦くて心に染みるのですが、映画のラストもクドカンらしくて好きです。
（十年前、十五歳のとき、『限りなく透明に近いブルー』の読破に挫折したのですが、
映画をきっかけに村上龍作品が好きになりました。）
レディー・ジェーン役の美少女・太田莉奈ちゃんも日露ハーフ（ロシア語講座で見事なロシア語を披露していました）ということもあり、ジャズが似合うエキゾティックな佐世保に似合ったキャスティングだと想います。
難しい思想を小難しい顔して語ることじゃなく、楽しく笑って生きることこそが最高のRESISTANCEなんだと気付かせてもらいました。
