このシリーズについて

   発売から40年以上が経つトミーのロングセラー商品。原型は1959年発売の『プラスチック汽車　レールセット』で、手で転がして遊ぶものだった。以来、組み立てやすくする、故障をなくす、などの改良は行っているが、基本的なモデルチェンジは行っていない。1960年代に小型モーター内蔵の3両編成のタイプを発売、現在も車両は3両編成が基本になっている。3歳の子どもがひとりでも遊べるほか、レールレイアウトを追加して走らせたり、さらに親が一緒になって街をつくる大掛かりなレイアウトを作り上げたりなど、遊び方の自由度が高いのも魅力。

他の方も書かれていますが、ケースにしてはちょっと高いかな？と思いつつ購入しました。
届いてみると、良く出来ています。造りもしっかりしていて、子供が荒くつかっても安心な感じがします。レールとつなげてトンネルとしても使えるのもポイントが高いですね。
うちにはトーマスシリーズしかないのですが、動力車とつなぐと１段に3両ですが、トーマスシリーズの貨車だけだと1段に4両入ります。複数のケースを積み重ねて引き出しのようにも使えるのも便利です。値段相応の価値はそれなりにある製品だと思いました。

電車ダイスキはいいけど増え続けるプラレールの収納にホトホト困っている人は多いのではないでしょうか？うちの子も大の電車好きでプラレールが増える、増える！収納に苦労しました。いろいろやりましたがやっぱりこの車庫に変身！トレインケースが一番です。ちょっとお値段が高いかな・・と思ったのですが見た目もスッキリきれいだし子供も喜んで片付けるし線路をつないで遊べるしでおすすめですよ。

3両編成の車両が4組お片付け出来ます。
ディスプレイにもなるし、レールを繋げて遊ぶことも出来ます。
工夫次第で、とても複雑で面白いレールコースを作れます。
ただのお片付け用としては少々高価な気がしますが
遊びの幅が広がるのでまぁ妥当なのかなとも思います。
我が家には15両前後あるので、4両しか入らないのが少々不満・・・
それと、サンダーバードセットについている車両はこのケースに入らないので残念に思いました。
