Wの3rdシングル。前回のほのぼの路線とは対照的に、「ロボット」をテーマとして電子音多用でスピード感に満ちたポップな曲となっている。「ミラクルルン」にも通じる自由奔放さが爽快で、少しレトロな雰囲気も感じられ、決して題名から連想されるような単なる企画物テクノに終わっていないのがいい。歌詞の内容は（さほど深い意味はないが）ロボットとはあまり関係なく、ガール・ポップの定番である恋への憧れを歌ったもの。歌唱はソロとユニゾンが主体であり、好評だったハーモニー重視路線からは一旦離脱した格好だが、これはこれで楽しい内容に仕上がっているといえる。

テレビで見たとき、振り付けがとってもかわいかったのです。
お互いねじをまいたり、空気を入れたりするしぐさ、ロボットっぽくちょこまか動いて、極めつけは最後首をまわしてお互いの肩へのせて目を閉じるところ。なんてカワイイんだろう、と感動すら覚えました。
ふたりの体型と衣装が、手塚治虫のロボットのような、アトムっぽいキュートさがあります。キスを迫るロボット、っていうのも手塚キャラっぽいですよね。
あくまでダンスありきの感想になってしまいます。もちろん曲自体とってもかわいいのですが、ふたりのかわいいダンスが目に浮かぶから、という理由で☆５つです。

ポップで元気いっぱいのメロディにのせた詞はまるで、言葉遊びのようで楽しい。言葉のおもちゃ箱をひっくり返したみたい☆
詞に意味はないように思えますが、私は意味の必要性すら感じません。この曲は楽しければそれでいいんです。
ファンがこのふたりに求めているものを、そのまま音にするとこうなる・・・みたいな曲。

「ダブルユーとミニモニ。は同じ時代には存在できない」
それも強く感じさせられましたね。
ミニモニ。スピリッツを忠実に受け継ぎ、進化した形がダブルユーなのだと思います。

だけどうーん、もうちょっと衣装がかわいければな~。
