今作は最もポップな出来といっていいかもしれませんが、新たな魅力を獲得した1枚といっていいでしょう。ライブで光る「アンハッピーニューエイジ」はシングルとは別の少しゆったりしたバージョンで収録です。
「Trigger Happy」の実験を経て、傑作「LSD」よりややゆったりした印象を受けます。モーサムは、エクスペリメンタルな博多系ロックシーンで、独自の個性を放ちつつ、
ザゼン、パニックスマイル等に比べ、抜群のメロディーを持つバンドだと思いますが、そういった今作のゆったり感もメロディーのキャッチーさも、「ぬるさ」に繋がらない不思議な魅力（魔力）をもつバンドです。精力的な活動で、実験も行い、スタイルを模倣しつづけていく彼らのmore someな精神には、「ぬるさ」なんてありえないのでしょうか。どんどんシーンを、特異な存在で突っ走ってほしいです。

ラストの「it's me」は「echo」と並ぶ名バラードで、モーサム特有の、小難しさのない純粋で無垢な「美しさ」、それ故の「哀しさ」が少ないメロディーで表現された大作だと思います。必聴です。

モーサムメジャー復帰作。
前々作『LIGHT,SLIDE,DUMMY』での破壊的な音はなりをひそめ、今作では取って代わったような全体的にポップな仕上がりとなっている。
この変化をメジャーレーベルからリリースしたことによる所謂「大衆向け」への変化と受け取った人は多く、ファンの中でも否定的な意見を持った者もけして少なくはなかった。
だがよく聴いてみて欲しい。
このアルバムは本当に「ポップなだけ」なのだろうか。
先行シングルでリリースされた「アンハッピー・ニューエイジ」の爽やかな疾走感はどろどろした変態的なアレンジに生まれ変わり、
「NO WAY CITY」「ラジカル・ポエスト」では相変わらずの素晴らしい狂気を見せつけてくれる。
ポップと狂気が見事に融合した本作は聴く度にその味を増し、一日中CDをリピートしていたなんてこともざらである。正にスルメ盤。
1曲目の「Emperor Sun & Sister Moon」の透き通ったメロディーの背後に流れるおおよそ不釣合いなサイケデリックギター。
この曲がこのアルバムの全てを表わしていると言っても過言ではないと思う。
前作『TRIGGER HAPPY』も異色の作品であったが、それに続きメジャー復帰作で今までのイメージを払拭しての大傑作を作り上げたモーサム。
つくづく恐ろしいバンドだ。

今までのモーサムのイメージと大分違うアルバムです。
1,2曲目には「DAWN ROCK」や「LSD」のような轟音はありませんが
いつまでも身を委ねていたくなる様な心地よい音が鳴らされています。
限定シングルだった2曲目は新しいモーサムの代表曲だと思います。
先行シングルの5に代表されるように全体的にポップになっていますが
4曲目や11曲目のようなこれまでのモーサムを聞かせてくれる曲もあります。特に11曲目での楽器と言葉の乱れ打ちがたまりません。
