   ヘヴィ・メタルと『ロード・オブ・ザ・リング』やアーサー王伝説などを合体させた鋼鉄の勇者たちが2003年6月、ドイツの野外フェス『ブラインド・ガーディアン・オープン・エアー』で行った2日間のステージを収めた1枚組ライヴDVD。「ミラー・ミラー」「ヴァルハラ」「ロード・オブ・ザ・リングス」など、パワフルなメタル・サウンドに独特のメロディを加味した音楽性は本国ドイツで熱狂的に支持されており、2万人の大観衆が声をあわせて合唱するさまは一大スペクタクルだ。
   また、DVD-2にはボーナス4曲を収録。こちらにも彼らの創り上げた名曲のひとつ「ロスト・イン・ザ・トワイライト・ホール」が収録されているのであなどれない。フェスティバル実現に至る道のりをたどった40分のドキュメンタリー、メンバー自らがツアー人生を語る15分のインタビュー、スライドショーも含まれており、2枚あわせて合計220分。映像とサウンド、そして彼らの世界観を見事に表現したアートワークの三位一体が、見る者を新たなる次元にいざなう。（山崎智之）

2003年6月13、14日にドイツのコーブルクで開催されたBlind Guardian
初主催で行われたフェスティバル。その２日目がDISC1に、舞台裏がDISC2に（ボーナストラックと合わせて）収録されている。

圧巻なのは ６曲目の"VALHALLA"
演奏が終わってもオーディエンスがずっと歌いつつけているという、すばらしい光景が。

当日仕事でドイツに行けなかった私にとっての必須アイテム。
DVD2に収録された４曲が音質的に劣るのが残念、もったいない。

ブラインド　ガーディアンは大好きですが、このＤＶＤには疑問が残ります。　　ハンジィのヴォーカルは唄っていない時もただ観客を観ているだけだし。　ステージの左右に走り回って　観客を煽る事くらいして欲しいです。　初来日の時にライブを観ましたが、その時はベースを持っていたので違和感ありませんでした。　今回はベース持たなくなったのですから　もっと上手に煽って欲しい。　ブルースディッキイソンとまでは言いませんが、もう少し動いてくれ。　　シャウトした後「どうだ！」と言わんばかりに　観客を眺める姿は笑えます。
ＣＤで十分だと思いました。映像で観る意味がない。

待ちに待ったブラガ待望のライブDVD。昨年、ライブCDが出ており、そのライブパフォーマンスの安定・クオリティの高さは実証済みであったが、彼らの映像が出るとあっては買わずにはいられないでしょう。

１曲目からアンコール最後のMirror, Mirrorまで圧巻のパフォーマンスをこれでもかというくらい見せ付けてくれます。
これを見ると、彼らがいかに本国ドイツ・ヨーロッパで高い人気を博しているのかがよくわかります。

確かに、MAJESTY、INTO THE STORM、WELCOME TO DYING、そしてLOST IN THE TWILIGHT HALLといった名曲がボーナストラック扱いで、音質が落ちるという点は否めないのですが、逆にTHE LAST CANDLEなど、普段は演奏していない曲のライブパフォーマンスが楽しめる点は評価できます。
