HYDEのソロ活動初期の集大成となる映像作品です。
ROENTGENという作品に関わらず、HYDEさんの世界観自体の基調をなしているものが見えるような作品集でした。
もちろんHYDEさんは多彩なアーティストですからひとくくりには語れないのですが。

私のオススメはSHALLOW SLEEPです。
evergreen,angel's taleとかなしげな曲が続いたところで一瞬開放的な色調が感じられます。
曲の内容としては愛しい人が現れた夢に戸惑う主人公の心情が歌われているので、
じぇんじぇん開放(解放)されてないかもなのですが。

666以降、ソロ作品はロックを基調として展開されています。
もちろん文句なしにかっこいいのですが、
ソロ初期の作品に表れている荘厳な世界観にこそ私はHYDEの魅力・偉大さを感じます。
彼自身が芸術です。彼自身がジャンルです。
そう言いたいほど、この作品の独自性は際立っています。
こんなにも曲の世界観を自身の姿で体現しきることができるアーティストは珍しいですね。
HYDEさんになるべく長く歌を歌っていてくださいと言いたくなりました。
彼が日本の音楽界から去ったらどんなに虚しいだろうなぁと思います。

全体が白とブルーグレーで構成されていて
とても幻想的な仕上がりになっています。
視覚的にも聴覚的にも、『ROENTGEN』の世界に
引きずり込まれてしまいます。
銀髪のHYDEが、儚いけれど強さを含んだ魅力を放っていて
この人本当に人間なのか？なんて思ってしまいました（笑）

この価格でこんなに良い物が手に入るとは思いませんでした。
迷っている方がいらしたら、「迷う必要はない！買ってしまえ！」
と言いたいです。

単なるPV集ではなく、PV全てを繋いでひとつの物語が完結しています。
まるで映画を観ているようなスケール感には、観終わった後、感動してしまいました。
HYDEのソロ活動の遺産であるROENTGENが、またひとつ軌跡を残した傑作です。
