Ｓ・ゲンズブールの「プレヴェールに捧げる歌」で彼を知り、
イヴ・モンタンの「枯葉」で彼が好きになり、
ジュリエット・グレコの「私は私、このまんまなの」が好きになり、
このＣＤを購入。
彼はシャンソン、フレンチ・ポップとは、切っても切れない存在。
コスマとのコンビで名曲を多く残した。
このＣＤには、代表作が網羅されているが、
１枚全部聴くのは忍耐がいる。
正直、すこし疲れる・・・
ただし、ジャック・プレヴェールを知るには、登竜門的一枚。

奈良美智さんの絵がジャケットにあったから、という単純な動機から購入しましたが、かなりいろいろな曲、そしていろいろな歌手が歌っていてびっくり！シャンソン満載。イヴ・モンタン、エディット・ピアフなどと並んで、♪バナナ、バナナ、スプリーッツ♪とはじけた歌をご披露してくれていたリオ嬢が３曲も入っているというのもおもしろい。でも、あまりにも色々入っているので全体としてのインパクトがぼやけた感もあるので、星１つ減らしました。

映画「王と鳥」より、ジャック・プレヴェールなる人物を知りました。
劇中使われた「五月の歌」を聴きたくて、このCDを購入したのですが、
CDには映画のシーンで使われた、そのまんまが収録されています。
（蓄音機の音まで！…ある意味味があります。）
購入した当初はそれがショックでならなかったのですが…

よくよく聴いてみると、どの歌も耳に心地よく、
（フランス語は読めないので訳詩ですが）言葉の具合も可愛くて！
シャンソンを聴いた事のなかった私の、もうすっかりお気に入りです。

詩の世界も、シャンソンも初心者ですが、楽しめました。
最初のショックがありましたので☆一つ減らして４つという評価です。

曲はとても気に入るものでしたが、翻訳に関西弁を使用してあることにとても違和感を感じました。他に表現方法はなかったものかと…とても残念に感じました。
