Bulutooth生活を始めようかと購入を決めました。
この機種を選んだのはPCと携帯TELが東芝製(Dynabook2210、A5504T)だったからです。
付属CDでユーティリティソフトをインストール、再起動しソフトを起動させただけで
携帯とのデータやり取りが可能になりました。このソフトは起動させると常駐します。
マニュアルによるとXPではSP1、2000ではSP3以降のOSが必須です。
最初だけCD-ROMドライブが要ります。
Bluetooth1.0B仕様の機器とは互換性がありません。

東芝以外のPCで使っています。

添付ソフトが比較的使いやすく、skype/msnメッセンジャーでのボイスチャット、
ノートPCでのダイヤルアップ接続等に使用しています。
他社製品で、再接続の際にパスキーを入れ直さなければならない物等に
当たってしまったことが有りますが、この製品ではそのようなこともなく、
今のところ特に欠点、困った点等も無いような感じです。

今時のUSB製品としては小さいサイズでは無いですが、結構薄めで
ノートPCと一緒に持ち運ぶにも不便な感じはしません。
ちょっとオシャレな感じも気に入っています。

ただ、一般に売られている製品ですが対応PCとしては
東芝の物しか明記されておらず、対応PC以外では動作保証が有りません。
その点では多少不親切かと思いました。

購入して説明書をみたところ、東芝製品にしか動作保障していません
このサイトにはどこにもそのことがかいてありません
