所謂クラブ・ミュージックという分野は全く興味がなかった訳ではなかったのですが、ずっと今まで聴かずに来てしまいました。寧ろ、フィーリング的にはディスコやレアグルーヴ(ファンク系)といった所までが自分の許容範囲だと信じていたようなところがありました。ですので、今更ながら本作を聴いてレビューを書くなど大笑いされてしまいそうですが、思いのほか琴線に触れるような音もあり、正直、"悪くないじゃないか"と思った次第です。
基本的にノレる、踊れるという点に重きが置かれるのは当たり前なのですが、目新しさがないのに(失礼!)これ程惹き付けられるのもやはり何かがあるからなのでしょうか。
また、この手のカテゴリは"100%打ち込みなんじゃないの？"と勝手に思い込んでいたのですが、そんな事も無く、ちゃんと(？)演じているんだなぁと感心したりもしました。
個人的には単に"洒落ているから"という捉え方ではなく、メリハリの効いたビートと女性voにやられた(笑)というように自己分析しています。
因みに、某ジャズ本に載っていたのを見て"ちょっと聴いてみたいな"と思ったというのが本音だったりします。何れ、気持ちよくなれたことは事実です。
