中国製である。
取説には「最初は煙やにおいがでることがある」と恐ろしいことが書かれている。
今のところ火災や健康被害らしきものはない（笑
商品紹介の項にタイマー付のように書かれているが、
実際はタイマー機能はない。
うちではREVEXのプログラムタイマーを使ってこの鍋を２台同時使用しているが
特に問題なく使えている。メーカ推奨外の使い方なので自己責任で。

共稼ぎなので週末にまとめてカレーやシチューを大量生産する。
夕方帰ってきて下ごしらえ、材料を投入してREVEXタイマーセット。
朝になったらできている。

味の点ではアクを取りながら丁寧に煮るやり方にはまったく勝てないが、
ちゃんと食べられる料理はできる。

鍋の容量は3リットル。ちょっと少ないがこれ以上大きくすると陶器製の
鍋がメチャクチャ重くなってしまうから、これでいいのだろう。
電源コードがマグネット式でないのが惜しい。設計が古いままなので仕方ないだろう。
あと本体が非常に熱くなるので注意。

追記：使い始めて半年経たないうちに内鍋の全面に細かいクラックが発生。　　
　　　しかもそこから内容物が滲み出す。だめだこりゃ。

ママ友の一人が鍋を直火にかけて割ってしまいずっと探していました。最近市販されているのが見つからなくて困っていました。うちのママさんは牛筋カレーや角煮に超活用してます。ママ友たちは煮豆や魚を骨まで柔らかく煮れて焦げないと評判です。煮たままお買い物にも行けると話してました。結構内容量もあってナイスですよ。

非常に地味な商品で、店頭でも広告でもお目にかかれませんが、我が家では30数年前に購入しました。今回陶器の内なべに小さなひびも見られ、使用には差し支えありませんが電気製品でもあり、思い切って買い換えようとWebで検索すると、名前もデザインもおなじ商品がありました。40年たっても同じものが売れているということ、また再度購入して使いたいと言うことは、有用な商品であることを如実に示すものでしょう。
妻の友人がこのなべで作った料理を味あう事で、同じ鍋を購入する、また叔母が購入して使い、子供たちにプレゼントするといったように、その輪が広がっていくのを見ていると、口で味わって伝わる「これこそ口コミだ〜」と思っています。
ちなみに、妻の得意は忙しい農家で農作業の出ていても煮える、畑で取とった花豆、インゲン、黒豆、大豆などの煮豆、叔母は水田養魚の小鮒の煮付け「骨まで食べられる」と大喜びです。
