リリー・クラウスにはモーツアルト以外にも名演が有ると言うことが判る一枚です。
ペダルの踏み込みも浅く、情緒たっぷりに演奏しています。
熟練の演奏で満足するものと思います。

凡庸なﾚﾋﾞｭｰを書くのも失礼に当たるかとは思うが････。
熱烈なﾌｧﾝらから「名花」と称されるそのﾋﾟｱﾉはある意味で
現代の技巧本位の名手達のそれとは対極にあるように感じる。
それは人間味というか、音楽に包まれたその人の人間性の表出であり
弾くという行為に何を見出すのかの違いかとも思うが、
彼女の録音があまり多くは聴けない（ｶﾀﾛｸﾞが少ない）昨今、
ｳﾞｧﾝｶﾞｰﾄﾞ名盤選として、こういうﾋﾟｱﾉが聴けることは素晴らしい。
廉価であることも普及盤としての資質を備えているし、
出来るだけ多くの人に、ちょっと古典的だけど美しさに溢れた
温かみのある演奏に触れて欲しいと願う。

クラウスのシューベルト、もう少し技術が落ちない時に録音すればよかったのにと思うＣＤ。気力は前へ前へと行くのだが、指がついてこない。どたばたした演奏になってしまっている。気持ちは十分感じるのだが、技術あってのピアニスト。これに対し、シフのベーゼンドルファーによる和風な演奏は、通常の（早め）演奏として良い。また、スタインウェイによるものでは、ホロヴィッツ。通常よりゆっくり目だが、一流の演奏。シフと比べるとやはりホロヴィッツが圧倒。内田はのっぺりして退屈に感じる。グルダは、異色。（クラウスの技術があったころの演奏を思わせる面もあり、かつ、ジャズを思わせる面もある。）指揮者と違い、ピアニストは全盛期が早めなので年をとれば成熟するというのは間違いだと思う。
