結論から言って、あまりお勧めしない。

iPodケースは何種類も出ていて迷ったが、純正品であり、自分のiPod(第四世代・20GB）に対応すると明記されていること失敗はないと考えて購入した。

最大の難点は、操作をする際に逐一ケースからiPodを取り出さなければならないこと。これではせっかくのiPodの素晴らしい操作性が台無しだし、非常にストレスフル。また、ケースがタイトに作られているので、出し入れするのも面倒（その分、ケースから抜け落ちたりすることはないだろうけど）。

唯一の長所は、ベルトクリップが非常にしっかりしていて、安心してベルトに引っ掛けられること。iPodはポケットに入れるには大きすぎるので、カバンを持ち歩きたくないときなど、ベルトにかけるだけで済むのは便利。

~今回のiPod(Click~~ Wheel)モデルにはケースが付属しないということで、
とりあえずApple純正のケースを購入したが、「純正品」の枠は超えていない。
たしかに、iPodをしっかりとサポートするという意味では文句も不満もないが、
液晶画面を見ながら操作するという使用方法からすると、何をするにもまず
ケースから取り出す必要がある。
また、iPod背面が鏡面仕上げになっており、~~それはとてもキレイなのだが、
何度もケースに出し入れしていると、うっすらと傷が入るのが判る。

ということで、ケースへの出し入れや、それによる傷に無頓着な人は
使っても損はない。~
