　俗にいうリヴァーサイド４部作の中では、人気はナンバー３ですが、その芸術性の高さでは最高の作品。あまたの歴代ジャズＣＤの中でも上位にはいる名品です。たぶん２０年以上エヴァンスを聴き続けている人は、同じ結論にたどり着くと思います。あの中山康樹氏と同意見というのが少し残念ですが･････。

ビル・エバンス・トリオのCDで一番好きなCDです．最初の「Israel」，
「Beautiful Love」の2つのテイク，「Elsa」と，これだけでも十分お腹一杯になれる．何度聴いても全然飽きがきません．こんな風にインタープレイできたらさぞ気持ちいいだろうにと思わずにはいられない傑作．

ジャズの聴き始めにビルエバンズを聴いて，だんだんもの足りなくなってきたら，ほかに行く前にこのアルバムを聴くといいです。ビルエバンズの中では一番ジャズらしいと思います。

スーパーオーディオなので音質もいいです。
