やっぱり、人の声って心地よいんだねーってことを教えてくれるアルバム。押尾コータローがギターで伴奏した曲や深沼元昭が提供した曲もあるのだが、曲がどうとかいう以前にハーモニーを聴くだけで充ち足りてしまう。ツェッペリンみたいな(7)~(8)の流れが好き。

　前のＲＡＧの音楽とは変わって、とても成長を感じる１作だと思います。前は、ポップで楽しさがあふれた作品が多かったですが、今回はしっとりとした、大人の音楽といった感じ。もちろん、アップテンポな曲もありますが、それにいたってもボーカル、コーラスが完成されていて
あぁいいな~と感動しました。

　どんなに成長した、大人の音楽に変わっていてもやっぱり彼ららしさがあふれていて、あったかくてそして元気を与えられる、という彼らの歌のパワーは変わっていません。これぞＲＡＧの音楽です！とってもすてきな作品なので、たくさんの人に聞いてもらえたらと思います。

1年半前のアルバム「AIR」は、今回の「CIRCLE」よりも彼らの目指す場所・好んでいる音楽というものが色濃く出ていたと思う。
それだけ、CIRCLEは手当たり次第に音楽を創っている感が強い。

ジャケットからも分かる通り、大人のRAGが“等身大”として詰まっている。AIRのときの｢楽しい｣｢弾けた｣曲が好きだった人には物足りないかもしれないが、現時点での彼らがこの13曲を作り上げたのだから、納得がいくし満足できる。

RAG FAIRは、この1年半で大きな成長を遂げたと思う。

レギュラー番組を持ち、表現する場が増え、AIRの頃の「CDに全てを注ぎ込まなければならない」というプレッシャーから解放されたからか、「CIRCLEは肩の力が抜けて作れた」とメンバーも語っている。

タイトルの通り、RAGとリスナーが円のように繋がれる1枚。

前のアルバムAIRよりもレベルアップしたそれぞれの歌が聴けます。
アルバム曲の「昼寝」は作詞をおっくん、作曲とメインボーカルかとうさんという“ほんわか”組で歌詞自体も子供好きのおっくんワールドがありったけ出ています。
他にも「at the Circle」「君でなければ」「Old　Fashioned　love　song」「HANA」「Dip!Dip!Dip！」などお馴染みの曲も入っていてファンでなくとも楽しめる一枚だと思います。
