一聴してまず感じたのは、１stと比べて実にポピュラーになったな、と
ゆう印象。T７の黒い下着に代表されるような、ストレートにノレる曲も
含まれています。１stが肌に合わなかった人でも、
これなら好きになる可能性は多いだろうと思います。

ポピュラーと言っても決して安直に聞きやすくなったのではなく、
作品中に流れている音は鬼気迫るものであり、独特のノリを持つ
メロディーは健在です。とくにドラムの音は明らかに進化していて、た
だ激しいだけではない、野獣のような生きたうねりをもって猛り狂って
ます。
メンバー４人の鳴らし出す音ががっちり噛み合い、バンドとしてどっし
りと強烈な爆発力をもった傑作。星が４つなのは、この作品が向井氏の
目指すものの途中経過のような気がするのと、その期待もこめてここでは
あえて４つにしました。
そして２ndを聞いてから改めて1stをきいてみると、違った指向をもつ１stが
さらに味わい深く感じられます。

ちなみに同じフレーズの連呼には私も、おいおいまたかよ、と突っ込み
いれたくなりました。このフレーズが次の作品でまたくり替えされてくのか
どうかも楽しみ。でもなんだかんだいってカッコイイ！！

ナンバーガールが大好きだから、ＺＡＺＥＮＢＯＹＳも
なんとか好きになりたい！という気持ちでファーストアルバムを
聴いていたのが正直なところだった。
でもこのＺＡＺＥＮＢＯＹＳIIで素直にＺＡＺＥＮの音楽が好きに
なった。ライヴが楽しみで仕方ない！

5.0 out of 5 stars zazenboysのアルバムを聴いていると笑ってしまう瞬間が必ずある, 2004/9/10
ダンス＆HIP-HOPや、ブルースロックみたいなのもあったり、ナンバーガール時代の音に近いものもあったり、結構ごちゃごちゃと色んな音楽が入っています。こういう事やったらファンに嫌われるかもしれないとか、たぶんいっさい考えてないですね。前回のアルバムの、歌詞、ギター、メロディーが、繰り返し使われているので（なんで？）、一枚目を聴いてから今作を聴いたほうがより楽しめるかも。椎名林檎さんによるコーラスもとても良い感じです。
