シングル「equal e.p.」に続く3rdアルバム。「すべてを“イコール”で繋ぐ」ACIDMANの描く世界観が今、∞（無限）になった。独特の世界観をサウンドに結晶化させた、全12曲を収録。


内容（「CDジャーナル」データベースより）

トリオ編成のロック系バンドのフル・アルバム。ディレイやダビングを駆使した厚みのあるギターの音が支配的だが、それを支えるトランシーなベースと小ワザの利いたドラムが本当の聴きどころかも。渋々としたループ的な曲構成はロックよりむしろクラブ寄りか。

独創的で、やわらかいサウンドの中に力強さを感じるACIDMANらしいアルバムになってます。
文句なしにアルバムとして星５つです☆
ただ、CCCDなのが痛いです。CCCDでこの値段は(個人的ですが)高い買い物と言えるかもしれません。そこまで考えると、かなり辛口かもしれませんが、星３つといわざるをえない気がします。

新作を出すたびに彼らのサウンドは
さまざまな方向へ光を伸ばしつつもどこか、
目指すべき到達点へと向けて走っていくような気がします。
このＣＤを聴いてなおさらそう感じました。

２曲目のFREAK OUTでいきなり感情を爆発させ、
一気にアルバムの世界へと引き込まれていく。
とても３ピースとは思えないほど、
広がりや深みのあるサウンドをかき鳴らしながら。

アシッドマンのサウンドは

最終的には「生きる」ということへ向かっていく。

それは楽曲が見せる表情でもあり、演奏する彼ら自身であり、
またＣＤを聴いてその曲を頭の中に響かせ、
ライヴに足を運び、一体感を感じるオーディエンスであったりする。

ラストの「廻る、廻る、その核へ」は9:21の大作。
これを聴いたとき、このアルバムの本当の意味がわかると思います。

個人的には
シングル曲の「イコール」、
インスト曲に新たに歌が入った「彩-後編-」、
ディズニーのカバー曲「Colors Of The Wind」などがオススメ。

ってこれレビューじゃないような。

ちゃんと通して聴きたいアルバム。
アルバムにまとまりがあるっていうか。
すごく綺麗に始まって、どこまでも広くて深い世界に触れて
彩 -sai-(前編)と(後編)。すごいよ、すごい。
そして最後の曲はなんと９分。ものすごく静かだけど重たくて重たくて
じっくりじっくり流れて終わって。気合入ってるなぁ。

どの曲も必要でどの曲も素晴らしい。
それでいて「動」と「静」の両極端がよくあらわれてる。
ACIDMANのもつ「世界観」に直に触れたような、触れられたような
感じだった。
