槇原敬之のシングル・コレクション。とはいいつつ、最新曲「僕が一番欲しかったもの」が入ってないのは、ちょっと残念。（でも、新しすぎて入れたくない気持ちも分かります。）あと、シングルだけでは語れない魅力の持ち主なので、アルバムの名曲が（当然ですが）見当たらないのも残念。だけど、それを「レーベルを超えた完全ベスト」「2枚組みで1枚ちょっとと同じ値段！」「初めてのシングル・コレクション」（ミリオンセラーとなった『SMILING』は、一部のシングルが入っていませんので。）と、制限のある中、精一杯のファン･サービスを感じます。個人的には、disc-2のバラエティーが聴き応えあると思います。歌詞も、どんどん磨きがかかっているし。その成長ぶりが分かる、年代順の収録も嬉しいですね！

現在イギリスに在住しており、日本のＣＤがそんなに簡単に手に入るわけではないので、このＣＤはかなり聞き込みました。それでも飽きない。優しい歌詞に涙が出そうになります。特に「桃」という曲が大好きです。あんまり槙原さんの曲は聴いたことがなかったので、これをきっかけにもっとＣＤを買って聞いてみたいなという気になりました。

心理的にちょっとぼろぼろになっていたときにCD屋でかかっていて、ソク買いました。こういったベストアルバムだと、はやっていたときのこととかいろいろ思い出すのですが、そういったこと以外にも彼の一生懸命な歌い方に心が洗われると思いますよ。

よほど彼のことや彼の歌い方が嫌いな人以外、皆様にお勧めです。
