前作の『Traveling Notes』も購入しましたが、今作品ははじめ試聴したときには前作ほどのインパクトは受けませんでした。しかし、恒例のアルバムと同名の秋~冬のコンサートツアーに行き、今作品の楽曲の魅力に気づき購入しました。今では聞くたびにライブの記憶が蘇ります。
コンサートツアーの模様を収めたDVDとともに、今作品もお勧めです。

・世界遺産のThe song of lifeで有名な鳥山雄二との共同プロデュース。

・クライズラー＆カンパニー時代のアルバムも含めて、もっとも自然に
　耳に入ってくる心地よいアルバムです。　この心地よさは流行に迎合
　したものではなく、上質でありながら、かたくない。　人が自然に
　求めているような音であると思います。

・ピアノの音や他の楽器との兼ね合いも自然です。　
　ボーカルがないことを寂しく感じさせない、バイオリン　それ自体
　として確立されているアルバムです。　

・さざざまな文化を、とりこんでいながら、日本的な雰囲気も感じられる
　気持ちよいアルバムです。

この間、葉加瀬さんのコンサートに初めて行きました。
「もう、最高でした。」一度で大ファンになりました。
帰りに「What a Day」を買って、毎日、時間のある限り聴いています。その中でも、特に「朧月夜」に酔っています。
幸せな世界に何度も何度も連れて行ってくれます。
「What a Day」のCDが幸せを運んできてくれました。感謝、感謝。

さすがは葉加瀬太郎のＣＤでテレビなどのバックミュージックとして使用されている曲ばかり。
忙しい毎日をゆったりした気分にかえられるかも。
