チャイコフスキー・コンクールでの最高位受賞後のCDデビューで、最もポピュラーな作品を選んだのは面白い。抒情的で息の長いメロディを歌うヴァイオリンがとても新鮮。際立つ音色の繊細さ。細部にまで神経を行き届かせた完成度の高さも聴きものだ。

川久保賜紀の待望のデビュー・アルバムが出た。2002年のチャイコフスキー・コンクール(上原彩子がピアノ部門で優勝)で1位なしの2位に入賞して桧舞台に躍り出た彼女は、ロサンゼルスに生まれ、欧米で勉強し演奏活動も海外が中心となっている(97年初来日!)。海外生まれの日本人演奏家が活躍するのもさほど珍しくなくなってきた昨今だが、川久保はその筆頭を行くヴァイオリニストと言えるかもしれない。それにしても豪勢な演目。チャイコフスキーは当然としてもメン・コンとぶつけてくるとは……。チャイコフスキーは力みすぎのところもあるが、剛健で線の太い演奏を繰り広げている。とくに終楽章などテクニックの切れも良く、押しの強い表現でグイグイと突き進んでいくさまはまことに凛々しい。第2楽章も実に豊艶。彼女の演奏には馥郁としたリリシズムとダイナミックな力感があふれている。メン・コンはちょっとスポーティに聴こえてしまう物足りなさがある。 (齋藤弘美) --- 2004年10月号

2002年チャイコフスキー・コンクールで2位なしの1位となった川久保賜紀の実質的なデビュー盤である。

聴いたとたん、余分な力のない自然ななめらかな音感に惹かれる。
普通デビュー盤となると、もっと技巧を前面に出した華やかな演奏になるかと思われるのだが、
本盤は意外なほどしっとりしており、楽曲そのものが高級な音で引き締まっているかのようだ。

ヴァイオリンの音は、少しセーヴ目で、美しいヴァイオリンの「遠鳴り」を堪能させてくれる。
また、細かいクレシェンドやデクレシェンドの確かなテクニックに支えられた安定感は、
とても流れが自然であり、かつ曲のウィットを表現する幅も感じられる。

バックのオケもなかなかの好演だ。
やや大人しい感じだが、響きに滋味があり、奥行きのある高雅さが出ている。
なかなか非凡な演奏と感じた。

チャイコフスキーの第1楽章のカデンツァから、オーケストラが復帰する部分など、
夢見るような美しさである。

まずは実質的デビュー盤として今後に大いに期待を膨らませる録音だ。

デビュー録音でチャイコフスキーを選んだのはリベンジの意味もあったのだろう。チャイコフスキーコンクールでの同曲の演奏はガラではなくてコンペティションの演奏がCDになっているが、賞を取りにいくんだ！という気負いがあってどこかぎこちないし、ミスも目立っていた。今回の演奏はところどころで音をしっかり延ばして新鮮味を出しながら、全体的には細やかな若い女性らしさが出ていて、まるで一緒に会話をしているような気持ちにさせられる。テクニックも問題なし。カップリングのメンデルスゾーンは第３楽章３分経過時のダブルストップ＋ピチカートの部分で若干音程を外しているのが残念。この曲はおまけと思えば問題なし。それが許せるほど、チャイコフスキーはいい。
