聴く前は正直期待をしていなかったのですが、聴いてみたら自然に入ることができました。
こてこての古いジャニーズソングも扱っているのに、恥ずかしさが全然かんじられませんでした。
プロデューサーも素晴らしいですが、10年経っても成長し続けるグループだからこそできる技かもしれません。
そして唯一のセルフプロデュースの「Love You Only」も大人のバラードになってて10年の年月を感じさせます。
先輩後輩達のカバーでも彼等の実力あってこその1位だと思います。
改めて「おめでとう」と言いたいです。

　10周年の記念アルバムでジャニーズのカバー。CMでよろしく哀愁がとても気に入っていたので、これはなかなかと思っていたら、バック陣が素晴らしい。ジャニーズの「涙くんさよなら」郷ひろみの「よろしく哀愁」光ゲンジ「パラダイス銀河」はプロデュースを小西康陽が、フォーリーブスの「ブルドッグ」はプロデューサーを曽我部恵一、 ギターソロがポール･ギルバートと豪華なゲストです。田原俊彦の教師びんびんのテーマ曲「抱きしめてTonight」ではプロデューサーは、奇才Towa Tei。マッチの「ギンギラギンにさりげなく 」はプロデューサーにアルフィーの高見沢俊彦。少年隊の名馬ラード「君だけに」はなんとプロデュースがTOTO。「Dayboreak」ではギターソロをセックスマシンガンのANCHANG。あのSMAPの「らいおんハート」のコーラスアレンジはコーラスグループで一世を風靡したTAKE6、Kinkiの「 フラワー」は、元YMO現Sketch Showの細野晴臣 ＆ 高橋幸宏。V6の「WAになっておどろう 」では作曲者である角松敏生さんがプロデュース。さすがジャニーズ。Kinkiやマッチの作曲に山下達郎氏を担ぎ出すPOWERをここでも存分に、
やはりジャニーズおそるべしという企画でした。

結成10年目を迎えた５人が、ボーカルとして参加したジャニーズ名曲集。みんな実は歌がうまいではないか。こんなに歌えるのに、普段は楽器の演奏をしてフロントマンの長瀬くんを盛り立てている４人はすばらしい。あらためて惚れ直させられる。そして、「この声は誰？」と耳をすませながら聴くのが実に楽しい。

このアルバムを聴くべきなのは、次の人達である。

１）ＴＯＫＩＯのファン
２）ジャニーズの歴史を知りたい人
３）ＴＯＴＯが好きな人

80年代洋楽マニアの私としては、３）を強調したい。少年隊の不朽の名曲「君だけに」をＴＯＴＯがプロデュース＆アレンジしているのだ！　演奏開始から、「ああこれはＴＯＴＯそのもの…」と感慨無量。ルカサーの泣きのギター。ボビー・キンボールの「キミダケニー♪」という微笑ましい日本語によるコーラス。

この曲はもともと本当にすばらしい。ＴＯＴＯに預ける決断をした人に感謝を捧げたい。私は１）で２）で３）であるが、私よりもＴＯＴＯを愛する洋楽ファンは確実に大勢いるはずである。その人達は、このアルバムの存在を知っているのであろうか。絶対にこれを手に取り、聴いてもらいたい。
