まず、スウィングガールズの演奏について言えば、短期間でこれだけの演奏が出来たこと自体が凄い。ちゃんとスウィングしているし、ドラムスの豊島さんに、ベースの水田さんリズム感良いですね。また、アレンジやった岸本さん（懐かしのゴダイゴのホーンセクションな方）のスコアがかっこいい！　特に"メキシカンフライヤー"は、ものすごかっこいいです。さて、彼女達の演奏以外でいわゆるサントラしているメンツがまた良いですね。斎藤ノブさん、梶原順さんに、ミッキー吉野さんですか。素晴らしいメンバーで彼ららしい質の高い音楽。梶原さんのギターが美しく、映画にも合ってましたね。ミッキーさんの作曲したメロディ、全てオッケーです。あと、"失恋してもラヴィン・ユー"で笑って終わるのが良いです。

　映画を見て、あのJZAAナンバーを聞きたい！と思った私にはすごくうれしい１枚でした。

　「A列車で行こう」、「故郷の空」、「シング・シング・シング」と、自分が知っている曲ばっかりだったのもすごくよかったです。なにより、わずか数ヶ月でここまで演奏できるようになったＧＩＲＬＳ＆Ａ　ＢＯＹはすごい！聞いてるとみんながんばったんだなって涙が・・・（笑）。とくに「シング・シング・シング」のソロを吹いてる貫地谷しほりちゃんのハイトーンは、もう「感動した！」の一言です。

　このＣＤを聞いて、映画見てＪＡＺＺやりたい！って思った気持ちがさらに盛り上がりました。あーサックスやりてー（笑）。

映画館で大いに笑って、大いにノッて、勢いでサントラを購入してしまった。
ＣＤで改めて演奏を聞くと、おや？と思う部分は多々あるが、
これを聞いて上手い下手を語るのは無粋というもの。

ガールズのイベントライブも見たが、四ヶ月の「特訓」の成果を披露する彼女達の瑞々しく、

はつらつとしたエネルギーは、ジャズに限らず音楽の楽しさを改めて教えてくれる。
実際これをきっかけに楽器を始める人も多いだろう。

だがしかし、ひとつ欠点を言えば、ミッキー吉野さんはじめプロの手が入っているとは言え、
メインはあくまで素人高校生の演奏。
しかも32分ちょいの収録時間ときたら、少々割高な気もする。

値段のバランスが良ければ、イメージとして完璧だった。

映画を観て、パンフ買って、サントラ買って、もう一回観に行って。
関連本も結構あるし、DVDも出たら買う。
お札が次々飛んでいく。号泣してもいいですか。
