ビジュアル系バンド、ムック。彼らのアルバムから沸き上がってきたのは、重く歪んだ幻惑的なギターの音色が印象深い、グランジ/オルタナティヴな歌世界。サウンド面は、かなり洋楽寄りだが、歌自体はやはり刹那な色を漂わせるこの界隈的な匂い。

ムックは、確立した世界観を崩さず、
且つアルバム毎に違った音を聴かせてくれるが、
これを聴くと、これこそ一番充実した音だと思わざるを得ない。
いつも通りの重低音で表現される露骨なダークさ、
７０ｓ譲りのフォーク節も秀逸、
そして今回のラストは涙涙の展開。
希望の光が一筋だけ差し込んでる、そんな感じ。
聴かず嫌いで損している人が何人いる事やら。

バルザックとの対バンも成功に終わり、
常に成長しつづけるバンド。
一見暗い歌に聴こえるが何故か光が見えてくる。
感情のこもったボーカル。
技術力がすばらしい楽器隊。
ラウドロック好きなら聴いてほしい。
よく、フォロワーなどといわれるが、
決してそうではない。
和風と洋風が一緒になったようなかんじだ。
前作是空ではボーカルの歌唱力が
劣っていたが、
今回は見違えるほどうまくなっている。
さらなる進化を期待できる。

ネットの掲示板で暗く重たい曲を歌っているバンドとして
ムックが挙げられていたので興味本位で
あまり期待せずに買いました。
聞く前に歌詞を見ると初っ端から暗そうだったので
期待しましたがメンバーの姿を見て
ビジュアル系バンドか・・・と少しテンションが下がりました。
僕は今までビジュアル系バンドとアイドルは同じようなものだと
思ってましたがこのアルバムを聞いた後、
偏見を持っていた自分が恥ずかしくなりました。
心を鷲みにされるとは・・・
