リサ・ローブの歌うドラマ「バツ彼」の主題歌「恋の嵐/Love Storm」をはじめ、挿入曲の「家へ帰ろう」、「マンハッタン・キス」など、耳馴染みのある竹内まりやさんの大ヒット楽曲が14曲、しかも洋楽トップアーティストによってカバーされていて、ファンにとっては嬉しい限りです。この夏から秋にかけて、夜の海岸沿いのドライブにピッタリなCDです。星空をイメージしたジャケットもとてもきれいで、値段も前作より安く、お勧めCDです。

２枚のSincerelyの凝縮版です。まりあさんのカバーですが、かつて全米を席巻したことのあるアーチスト達がカバーしているので、仕上がりはよいと思います。個人的にはボビーコールドウェルの「カムフラージュ」が一番はまっていると思います。ティファニー、リチャードマークス、ロバータフラックともいいです。ただ、Sincerelyの初版の「天使のため息」マリリンマーチン＆ジョーピズローが収録されていないのが残念です。

竹内さんの軽くポップな曲が、こんなにも深みのある曲に再生されているとは思いませんでした。とくにキム・カーンズが歌う「もう一度」は、竹内ミュージックと彼女の色がブレンドして最高の仕上がりとなっています。こころの奥底に訴えかけてくる歌いっぷりでした。買って良かった。
