映画「永遠のモータウン」のおかげもあって、その頃まだ生まれていなかった若者たちは現在モータウン・レーベルに注目していることだと思います。モータウンのコンピレーションはたくさんありすぎて（もちろんどれを聴いてもそれなりに満足はできると思うけれど・・・）選べないかもしれないですね。
そんな中でFREE SOUL classic of 60's MOTOWNの登場。これは迷わず聴くべき。やっぱり一味違います。正直選曲には非常に頭を悩ませたんじゃないかと思います。膨大な名曲たちを削って削って・・・。残った28曲、甘酸っぱい気持ちになります。そして最高にハッピー。
これ入ってないっていう声もあるのは当然で、60's MOTOWN 2がめでたく発売されるみたいですね。お金ない若者はたいへん（笑）。
これを聴いてこの頃の空気を味わって欲しいと思うし、これを基に自分なりの大切な曲を探して欲しいと思います。
