この曲に出会ったのは二年前の夏の甲子園。熱闘甲子園という番組の挿入歌として使われていました。
高校野球をやっていた僕としては、選手が勝って喜んだり、負けて悔し涙を流したり・・・・。そんな時にこの曲を聴きながら映像を見ていると自分まで泣けてきました。
頑張っても頑張っても届かないものがある。それでもやる前から諦めていたら頑張っただけのただの過去になってしまう。高校野球のつらい所は試合に出る選手がいればスタンドにいる選手だっているということです。これはスポーツに関して考えればあたり前なことですが、それでもスタンドの網越しにチームを応援でしか貢献できない悔しさが僕にはあり、この曲が心から響きました。
とても響きました・・・・。

この曲には何度癒されたことでしょうか。
ゆったりとした優しい感じの音楽、歌詞、そして何よりも癒されるのが
BEGIN自身の歌です。
更にこの曲は、熱闘甲子園のエンディングテーマでもあり多くの
方々から絶大な人気を誇っています。
BEGINは沖縄のアーティストの中でも間違いなくトップクラスの
アーティストでしょう。
これからもBEGINが素晴らしい歌をつくってくれることだと思います。

朝、ＴＶをつけたら　この歌が耳に飛び込んできました。美しいメロディラインもさることながら　『悲しみは足かせじゃない。消えない約束』という詞に心打たれ　一もにもなくＣＤショップに走りました。何度も何度も繰り返し聞いています。オススメの一曲です。とにかく詞が良い！("▽"*)
