＃１のイントロを聴いた時点で正直ぶっ飛んだ。ここ数年のガレージバンドブームのためにこういったＨＲにカテゴライズできるようなバンドはあまり出てきていなかったような気がするのだが、彼らは凄い新人である。幸運にもサマソニでのステージアクトをスカパーで見ることができたのだが新人とは思えない圧倒的なパワーを感じさせるものだった。
たしかにエアロスミス、ブラック・クロウズ、あたりのアメリカンＨＲが好きな方はこれは聴かなければ損である。ツイン・ギターによるリフがたまらない。ヴォーカルのハスキーな声質も最高である。少々お行儀の悪い話だが、「Ｆｘｃｋ」なんて言葉がこれほど似合うバンドは久しぶりじゃないか！と思った。これはもう絶対に売れてほしい、そして頂点に立ってほしいバンドとして応援していきたい。そんなバンドだ。

ブルージーでソウルフルなボーカルを中心とした、カラッと乾いた縦に揺れるストレートなハードロック。
よく言われるようにBlack Crowsを髣髴とさせるものがある。

正直パッと聴いた感じは地味に聴こえるが、曲はどれもよく出来ていて気持ちよく、聴けば聴くほどよくなってくる、するめのようなアルバムで、長く付き合うことのできる味わい深さがある。
また、日本盤ボーナストラックのAdult Childもソウルフルな美しいバラードソングでウォルトの歌も含めて素晴らしい。
一応ボーナストラックという扱いだが、アルバムのラストを飾るのにもピッタリの曲だと思うので個人的には日本盤をお勧めしたい。

若くていきのいいバンドなので次作にも大いに期待。

デビュー前からビッグ・アーティストの前座などで話題になっただけあって、確かなスキルを持った若手バンドだ。ブルースベースというと渋くなりがちだが、この作品はスカっとした気持ちの良い真っ直ぐなサウンド。70年代ブリティッシュロック的なしつこさはナシ。全体的にはハードな楽曲で構成されていて、ライブでも乗りやすい曲ばかり。
また、8曲目ハートストロングではロックバラードを聴かせ、違う一面も見せてくれる。

本物のにおいが充満している、現代風に洗練されたクラシック・ロック・アルバムである。
